Luminize is seeking a strategic, people-first Director of Human Resources to lead and elevate our HR function as we grow. In this high-impact role, you'll guide talent strategy, performance development, and employee engagement—while also staying hands-on with day-to-day HR operations.

We're looking for a dynamic leader who can blend big-picture thinking with tactical execution, building programs that align with company goals and energize our people.

🚀 What You’ll Do

Partner with executives to shape and execute HR strategy aligned with business goals
Lead full-cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs
Manage performance development, coaching, and employee growth initiatives
Oversee compensation, benefits, and job classification programs
Maintain compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws
Resolve employee relations matters with fairness and clarity
Drive HR metrics and KPIs to support data-driven decision making
Lead cross-functional projects that enhance company culture and employee experience

✅ What You Bring

5+ years in senior-level HR roles, with at least 5 years in leadership
Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Business, or related field (SPHR preferred)
Strong understanding of CA and multi-state employment law
Proven success leading recruiting, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives
Exceptional communicator and trusted partner across all levels
Business-savvy, strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach
Comfortable leading complex projects and driving real change
